Background: Sport is an activity that has a positive effect on individual. DOMS occurs when person starts exercising after long period of inactivity and results from increase in the load intensity exercise. characterized by onset muscle soreness Any type places unusual muscles can cause DOMS.Objective: to determine existence active recovery passive reducing (delayed soreness).Method: The study design this research critical review. data were obtained using several literature searches, namely Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), Science Direct, Google scholar, pubmed, NCBI, Jane BiosemanticResults: based 7 articles found, 3 said massage with rolling technique had significant doms symptoms, 2 it was not effective, 1 article aerobic exercise preventing stretching effective
